Bits and pieces
My car battery has been charging since about 6pm last night and it's only up to "50% charged" according to the battery charger. This is, well, a bit lame.

Another rejection letter this morning, this time from Macmillan Cancer Research. Admittedly it was quite a nice rejection letter, but that was one of the ones I was really hopeful about. :-( Got a rejection letter from JobCentre Plus the other day, but since I applied for that over a month ago I'd already written that one off.

My cough seems to be getting worse again. This I can do without.

Working from home is A Bad Idea. I don't get anything done, and I just feel guilty if I do anything other than work. Perhaps if the work was actually interesting and seemed to have any point to it, it might be different.

I'll undertake to guarantee content in reply to any email of substance you send me.

Which may not help much, but it's the best I can see to do.
