I keep getting these emails that look like I'm being copied in on some kind of pointless top-posted conversation between a bunch of airhead girls. They're not telling me about pictures of their breasts on the web, or offering me fake Rolexes, so I'm not sure what the purpose of it as spam would be, except possibly to get me to reply & prove I'm a real email address. If it is spam, it's very convincingly written to sound like real email. On the other hand, if it's not spam, I should probably tell these nonces that they're cc'ing university staff in on their tedious social arrangements. (I wonder if they've mixed my crsid up with that of "the elusive johanna"?) Or maybe I should just turn up and join them?

Decision time

So, what should I do about this email thing? (See previous post.)

Poll #386935 So what happens now?

Should I...

Just forward the email to the right person, stop messing about.
Print the email out & send it by pigeon post.
Try to meet these people at LKX with a big banner or something.
Foward the email to the flash mob people.

... or something else?
