The end of the honeymoon period

Okay, perhaps all is not clue and light here. This is taken from an email from somebody who is actually going to be adding content to

"If your happy for me to provide html content then I'll need some pointers on
style etc
I'm pretty competence with dreamweaver and if agreeable I can send you the
pages ready for incorpoarating into the existing structure."

Now, the bit of the site that he's going to be updating is pretty bad already. I didn't actually think it could get much worse. The rest of the web team already start to lose the will to live if they have to look at it for more than 10 minutes.

This is the bit of the site that I'm going to be responsible for soon.

Stupidity, Part II

I went to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee, and noticed that the sugar bowl was empty, so I got the bag of sugar out of the cupboard. As I was doing this, a guy in a suit picked up the empty sugar bowl, looked at it, shook it, looked puzzled, and put it down again. Then I poured sugar out of the bag into the bowl. He looked surprised. "Thank you for doing the sugar," he said. "It's a good job somebody does it."
