I wouldn't worry about watching the forecast at this point - any guess more than about three days in advance is basically absolute bollocks :-)

I only take notice of the optimistic forecasts.

Hey! Are you returned from the Frozen Wastelands yet? I haven't seen you since almost forever.

Um. Bad news on that front.

Barclays have pulled out of taking me for the summer, which leaves my best option as taking a lab job up here.

I was really looking forward to spending time down south, but I don't want to be holed up at home with no job, I'd go mad.

I'll be down for weekends as much as I can.

Bah! That's not good. *sulks* Come down South *soon*!

Will be around next week, if anything's happening amongst the pre-Glasto madness :-)

Of those, my musts are:

Morrissey, Elbow, Franz Ferdinand, PJ Harvey, British Sea Power; other stuff which caught my eye was Squarepusher, Aphex Twin (both in the Glade) , Television and Spiritualized (New Tent), Six by Seven (Avalon stage), and a fair amount of the other stuff above...

Ooh, didn't notice the Aphex Twin, or Squarepusher! I think I only glanced at the Glade listings, assuming I wasn't going to be intereste in any of the scary fraggle-dancing stuff... 8-)

You're out of luck with the Libertines, I'm afraid - they've pulled out of all the summer festivals due to their singer being in rehab. Again. Thailand, this time. Someone told me who was replacing them, & it was someone I liked, but I can't remember now or find the info anywhere, bah.

Oh well, not that fussed, they're just somebody I'd heard of as being good & wouldn't've minded hearing briefly...
